As the Director of the user experience group at 3TIER I have not only created a voice within the company for the user, but also guided the product development process by bridging product management, and software development through communicating and resolving unseen issues before moving products to development. Through incorporating our design process with the development agile process we were able to iterate on dozens of user tested interactive prototypes allowing us to launch an award winning* product on time. The success of the site helped enhance 3TIER's presence in the industry as well as help to acquire funding to move forward with more software product development.

Microsoft Corporation

As a software development engineer for Microsoft's Windows Vista operating system owning 5 of the 11 default gadgets that come with the operating system, I worked with designers, developers, project managers, and test engineers to deliver a world-class user and developer experience. Not only did I design, and develop the gadgets I also wrote the specifications and determined the code standards and best practices for sidebar gadgets which were published to the Microsoft Developer Network.

Foote, Cone & Belding - FCBi

Executed all interactive initiatives for FCBi the interactive branch of Foote, Cone & Belding (FCB) one of world's leading advertising agencies. Working with creative executives, account executives and graphic designers we continually delivered successful online initiatives under rigorous ad agency timelines. Included in these initiatives were three extremely successful HP web initiatives - HP Works, HP PurchasEdge, and HP SureSupply. Through focus group, usability testing, SEO optimization and channel partner relationships we were able to increase traffic and membership.

Alertus Inc.

Co-owner in charge of product development. Designed and developed a hosted solution that enabled web teams to optimize user experience through a quick customizable pop-up survey consisting of three brief scaled questions about content, design, and usability. All data was collected and stored at Alertus where users could login to a real-time analytics dashboard. Clients included BillMeLater, Alabanza, Bulk Register, America's Most Wanted.

JDA Advertising

Lead Web developer for the Seattle base internet marketing unit of JDA Advertising. An advertising agency dedicated to integrated marketing. As lead developer I worked with account executives and graphic designers to deliver successful online initiatives under rigorous ad agency timelines.
